So sánh GDP 2025 giữa Thái Lan và Việt Nam: Nước láng giềng giàu có vượt trội hay không?

SCB EIC hạ dự báo tăng trưởng kinh tế toàn cầu năm 2025, chỉ ra những rủi ro từ chính sách thương mại bảo hộ và căng thẳng địa chính trị gia tăng. Thái Lan sẽ chịu áp lực lớn từ các yếu tố này, đặc biệt trong nửa cuối năm 2025.

Kinh tế Thái Lan sẽ thế nào trong năm 2025?

Trong quý IV năm 2024, kinh tế Thái Lan được dự báo tăng trưởng 4%, nhờ xuất khẩu, chi tiêu công và du lịch. Tuy nhiên, từ nửa cuối năm 2025, các biện pháp bảo hộ thương mại của Mỹ sẽ gây áp lực lớn, đặc biệt với các ngành như điện tử, ô tô, máy móc và máy tính – chiếm hơn 70% tổng xuất khẩu của Thái Lan sang Mỹ.

Bên cạnh đó, việc Trung Quốc dư thừa công suất sẽ làm giảm sức cạnh tranh của sản phẩm Thái cả trong và ngoài nước. Ngành sản xuất của Thái Lan, vốn đang phục hồi chậm chạp, sẽ gặp thêm khó khăn ngay cả khi có gói kích thích tài khóa bổ sung.

Dù đầu tư tư nhân có thể phục hồi khiêm tốn vào năm 2024, các thách thức trong ngành công nghiệp như cạnh tranh từ hàng nhập khẩu Trung Quốc và nhu cầu nội địa yếu vẫn tiếp diễn. Theo khảo sát của SCB EIC, hơn 60% người tiêu dùng dự báo kinh tế Thái Lan sẽ xấu đi vào năm tới, đặc biệt ở nhóm thu nhập thấp.

Tiêu dùng cá nhân cũng chịu tác động từ chất lượng tín dụng bán lẻ giảm sút và tiêu chuẩn vay khắt khe hơn. Mặc dù có các biện pháp hỗ trợ giải quyết nợ hộ gia đình, khả năng thành công sẽ phụ thuộc lớn vào việc cải thiện thu nhập của người vay.

Đồng baht được dự báo giảm nhẹ trong ngắn hạn, dao động từ 34,00–35,00 baht/USD. Tuy nhiên, từ nửa cuối năm 2025, đồng baht có thể mạnh lên nhờ Fed cắt giảm lãi suất, giá dầu toàn cầu giảm và dòng vốn quay trở lại.

Đến cuối năm 2025, tỷ giá đồng baht dự kiến trong khoảng 33,50–34,50 baht/USD. Tuy vậy, các doanh nghiệp Thái vẫn đối mặt với nhiều rủi ro, từ biến động kinh tế toàn cầu đến xu hướng chuyển đổi sang xe điện và cạnh tranh gay gắt.

Dự báo tăng trưởng toàn cầu năm 2025 bị hạ thấp

SCB EIC điều chỉnh dự báo tăng trưởng kinh tế toàn cầu năm 2025 từ 2,8% xuống còn 2,5%. Nguyên nhân chính đến từ tác động của các chính sách thuộc nhiệm kỳ thứ hai của Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump (Trump 2.0). Những chính sách này, bao gồm tăng thuế nhập khẩu và thúc đẩy chuỗi cung ứng trong nước, dự kiến sẽ làm gia tăng căng thẳng địa chính trị và bảo hộ thương mại, từ đó ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến thương mại, đầu tư và thị trường lao động toàn cầu.

Mặc dù một số nền kinh tế lớn đã có biện pháp đối phó, nhưng xung đột chính trị ở các quốc gia như Đức, Pháp và Hàn Quốc có thể làm giảm hiệu quả chính sách. Đáng chú ý, kinh tế Mỹ có thể không chịu tác động quá lớn do các chính sách kích cầu trong nước, như giảm thuế thu nhập và nới lỏng quy định.

Hướng đi của các chính sách tiền tệ trên thế giới đang trở nên khó đoán hơn. Tại Mỹ, Cục Dự trữ Liên bang (Fed) dự kiến sẽ thận trọng trong việc hạ lãi suất do lo ngại lạm phát tăng từ chính sách Trump 2.0. Tuy vậy, lạm phát toàn cầu có thể không tăng mạnh nhờ giá năng lượng giảm và nhu cầu toàn cầu suy yếu.

Ngược lại, Ngân hàng Trung ương châu Âu (ECB) và Ngân hàng Nhân dân Trung Quốc (PBOC) dự kiến sẽ tiếp tục giảm lãi suất nhằm giải quyết các thách thức cấu trúc. Riêng Nhật Bản có khả năng đi ngược xu hướng khi có thể nâng lãi suất sớm hơn dự kiến để kiểm soát tình trạng giảm giá quá mức của đồng yên.

Theo IMF, quy mô GDP của Thái Lan năm 2025 có thể đạt hơn 545 tỷ USD, xếp thứ 3 ASEAN, sau Indonesia và Singapore, GDP đầu người ở mức hơn 7.700 USD.

Ở danh sách này, Việt Nam xếp thứ 5, dưới 3 nước trên và Philippines, với quy mô GDP hơn 506 tỷ USD, GDP đầu người hơn 4.900 USD.
