Proven Amazon Course (PAC) is an online training that aims to teach you how to build a business on Amazon.
The course stands apart from most other Amazon courses we’ve reviewed because PAC doesn’t just cover one strategy for selling products and making money on Amazon, but several.

Who is Proven Amazon Course for?
Given the amount of subtopics covered within PAC, I believe it’s best suited for anyone who wants to get into ecommerce but isn’t sure where to start.
Proven Amazon Course gives you a good overview of many different ways to sell on Amazon, so you can get a feel for each and dive deeper as needed.
That said, PAC can also be helpful for experienced Amazon sellers.
I tend to agree with the following statement on the course sales page:
This course contains numerous modules for everyone from “brand new seller” to “advanced strategies”.
I usually tell people to be careful buying an Amazon training program because it’s a tough business if you’re new to working online, and you usually have to invest a significant amount of money beyond the price of the training.
However, PAC is one of the few courses that does a good job of covering relatively easy and low-cost ways to get started selling on Amazon.

Does Proven Amazon Course have a good reputation?
Yes.
During my research of Jim Cockrum and Proven Amazon Course, I found far more praise than criticism for the training and its creator.
It seems Jim has been actively selling and teaching online since the 90’s, and has built up an impressive following and scores of testimonials.
You can see many testimonials from PAC students on the course sales page.
The only thing that gives me pause is that the dates are blurred out for many of the testimonials on that page. Which made me wonder if newer students were still getting good results from the training 🤔
However, having signed up for Proven Amazon Course myself and combing through the posts in the private Facebook group, I saw many recent success stories from students.
Are Proven Amazon Course students getting results?
Based on the many testimonials on the PAC sales page, combined with the frequent success stories I see in the private Facebook group, I’d have to say yes, plenty of students appear to be getting good results.
I usually can’t say that about an Amazon FBA course, as Amazon FBA seems to have become far more competitive in recent years.
But since Proven Amazon Course teaches multiple strategies for selling on Amazon, it looks like students aren’t getting stuck using one particular method or formula.
How much does Proven Amazon Course cost?
Full access to Proven Amazon Course costs $29 per month, or you can pay a one-time fee of $499 for lifetime access.
This is very competitive pricing compared to some of the other Amazon courses I’ve reviewed.

But keep in mind: to follow many of the Amazon selling strategies taught in the course, you will need some additional money to spend on things like software tools, inventory, advertising, etc.
On the low end, PAC recommends that you have at least $200 to invest in following a strategy like “Buy Local, Sell To The World.”
On the high end, according to my research you should expect to spend at least $5000 to launch and market a private label product on Amazon.
Proven Amazon Course Discount?
Sorry, there doesn’t seem to be any discount available for PAC.
I have seen mention of an occasional $100 discount for the course in the past (for lifetime access), but that seems to be rare.

How is the training structured?
There is a LOT of content inside Proven Amazon Course.
It looks like this once you’re logged in:
I counted more than 40 separate “courses” within the training. Most of those courses are in video format, though a few are ebooks.
Each course is broken up into modules and lessons.
For example, the Amazon Selling 101 course is divided into 5 modules and 48 lessons.
Most of the video lessons seem to be 10 minutes or less, usually consisting of slides with a teacher/instructor talking over them.
(There are many different teachers and instructors within PAC, btw.)
I personally found the navigation to be a bit lacking and the search feature didn’t work well for me, but there is a “Getting Started” section to ease you into everything.

Based on my research and submitted student reviews, here are some things to like about Jim Cockrum’s Proven Amazon Course:

- Active and helpful private community.
- Covers many different ecommerce strategies, including low-cost.

- Low price compared to most other Amazon courses, and especially affordable to try out on the monthly subscription.
- No overhyped promises or shady marketing; clear disclaimers on sales page.
- Jim Cockrum seems like the real deal.
Red Flags 🚩
A few things about Proven Amazon Course that might give you pause:
- Seems the core training was last updated fully in 2018, so some of the content is a little outdated.
- Lots of powerpoint-style videos, often telling you what to do rather than showing you with a simple screencast.
- So much content it can be overwhelming, and not always easy to find your way around.
- Some complaints from students about the coaching services offered by PAC as an upsell.
Other things you should know
- There are some upsells offered within the training. I didn’t find this to be excessive or inappropriate, but some students might.
- You can get to know Jim Cockrum and his students better via the many free videos on his YouTube channel. For example, check out this interview with a former high school teacher who built a million-dollar business.
Should you join Proven Amazon Course?
PAC is a good choice if you’re new to ecommerce and want to explore many different strategies for selling on Amazon.
Access to the training is inexpensive, especially with the monthly subscription, and the 30-day guarantee looks solid.
Proven Amazon Course is also a worthwhile investment if you have some experience selling on Amazon and are looking for some pro tips and strategies to boost your business.
Just be careful when it comes to any 1-on-1 coaching services they may offer you. We’ve heard from a couple of students who’ve had bad experiences with that (see their reviews below).
